If Global Warming can cause Global Cooling is it trying to correct itself?

There is so much confusion in the Global Warming area how can anyone come to a accurate judgement?

By doing research, seeing what the climate is doing and has done in the past and then using that data to create models of what it will do in the future.

I wouldn't worry about the earth. Global wraming is most likely cause by natural occurances.  Also, since the Artic ocean is frozen over this is less water vapor escaping into the atmosphere. When there is less snow to replenish the Arctic ice cap, the cap may start to shrink. That could be the cause behind the retreat of the Arctic ice cap that scientists are documenting today.  With the cap shrinking as it is there is less snow and temperatures begin to rise. The higher temeratures open up more northern waters and the atmosphere can evaporate that water and let snow fall once again the the retreated caps. This replenishes the caps, cools the water and the Artic ocean freezes and the cycle starts overs again

Warming, Cooling, Drought, Flooding all of this combines to make what most are calling Climate Change.  Climate models are still being developed.  Gore's movie an Inconvenient Truth is really good.  He does do some whining but some of the before and after shots are impressive as are the ice core samples.   The problem is a huge opportunity to for us to remake the world to rise to the challenge!

Sadly, this makes no sense.

"Its not like the Earth has a brain."

And yet, by your logic, it sounds like the Earth does have a brain.

To answer your question, certainly there are negative feedbacks in the system that are there to help keep the balance. I would say yes, the Earth is trying to correct itself. We will have to see how that works out.
