Dear Will,

Yes, global warming is a real happening.  But it is demonstrable that the world's temperature is cyclic.  We don't know for sure that the human race is the root cause of the phenomenon.  In fact, it is a little presumptuous of us to think so.  Consider the amount of greenhouse gas emitted in one volcano eruption and compare to the amounts that are troubling us.

While showering with a friend probably would have no effect on global warming, it could, if done by enough friends, have a positive effect on the looming water shortage.
