Well animals play an important part in the immune system. So,if they weren't made out of meat what would they be made out of?and something that i don't get is why don't humans eat other humans?i mean, were meat to.i mean what difference does it make.god did not make animals so we can eat them you know.they are living organisms just like us. they have muscles and bones just like us right?but even though me and most people eat meat god didn't say we couldn't eat it.

he never said we couldn't eat meat, he said that we could use the animals to support our lives, that's why they were put on the planet. i am a vegetarian however. [and i think this goes in Religion & Spirituality, you're probably going to get alot of mean vegetarian's answers here]

this question doesn't make sense at all.  "Meat" is actually skeletal muscle and fat.  So you're asking why God made animals out of muscle and fat??  My answer to that is so that they can move, maintain balance, function, and LIVE.  Animals weren't meant to be eaten, it is those who enjoy killing living things that eat animals.

God gave you free will.  You can eat whatever you want.  A persons diet is a very personal choice, just like religion.  And, its no one's business.

I think all the arguing about vegetarianism vs. meat eaters here on yahoo! answers is stupid.  I personally don't care what people eat.  And, vegans make that dietary choice based on a lot of different reasons; not just animal rights issues.

well assuming one believes in god, he didn't "make them out of meat" as you say, animals are made of flesh. we, humans decided that the flesh of another living thing is edible, not god. God didn't say "let there be meat"... it was people who decided to fry, bake, roast and smoke the dead flesh of another being.

in the beginning God did not create animals to be eaten but to share the world with us. see genesis 2:9. God made every TREE that is good for food to grow, and in genesis 1:29 God said to adam "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upin the face of the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed, to you it shall be for meat" God at first designed mankind to be fruitarians. However after man sinned, the diet was changed by God. we read in genesis 3 17: And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

19: In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

So from here God permitted us to eat other foods like vegies and herbs, legumes etc. so we can keep busy (idleness causes sin) and also due to soil corruption god forsore, increase our nutriion and also vegies are medicinal and God forsore sickness and made provision.

However after this In the time of Noah, right after the flood there was not enough vegetation to sustain them and God and temporarily permitted man to eat flesh foods (see leviticus 11 for the types of flesh was allowed) not all  meat was allowed. The again in moses day the people cried out to God for flesh food and god sent quails into their camp for food, from this a large majority died because of the flesh food. God also shortned mans lifespan to 120 with the introduction of meat, because it is not good for u *ask any honest doctor). and that is how its been since however only clean meats r allowed (lev 11) since then many mistakingly think they can eat anything but this is error, and misinterpret scripture saying u can eat anything u pray over but . God did not create all things to be eaten with thanksgiving. Also they misinterpret a dream given to peter saying all food is made clean. but the food was a symbol of man if u read on down in the chapter. Peter interprets the dream for us saying "God has shown me that i must not call any man common or unclean". So u can still eat meat but only certain kinds. i myself prefer to go without because even what was clean due to mans deglect is no longer good
