The question is not well focused, and it must be well structued, Anyway, God  has created human being Adams and Eve living on Paradise, but because of their fascination with the speech of the Satan, they are rejected from the Paradise to live on earth, this latter which is created by God, the Almighty. God has created on earth everything, means that he has created what is good and what is bad. smart people and stupid ones, poor and rich ones. Since we're very weak, we  don't have to judge God, why he has done this to those pepole and why he has done this with those ones.. As if we are judging the will  of God, which is not decent... The gist from life is this, we are here to work hard and to prepare to the life after death, we are not here at rondom, we are to thank God for his virtues. So, if he has hurt Smart people, he is the one who has created those smart people, and he hurts them to see to what extent they may accept his reaction, and to see to what extent they exchange their love with their Creator..

I'm not sure what God has to do with it, but i know lots of smart people who have good friendships with people who really aren't as smart and it doesn't hurt them at all to hear their friends talk.

I would suggest that perhaps the "smart people" you are referring to are actually a small group of smart people who are "elitists"

Smart people should be smart enoth to understand stupid person and figure out how to make there conversation sound smarter just by asking the right questions.  Plus smart people generaly like challenges.
