If God is real , why he doesn't show himself and talk to us face to face ?

God can not look upon sin, He can not tolerate sin.

That is why God came to earth as Jesus Christ, the Son of God, to reconcile us back to God by paying the penalty for OUR sins when He never committed any.

God is very real. If you were to seek him for yourself and develop a relationship with him, you will get to know Him for who He is. Just one taste, one real experience with God and you will know that He is who He is: He is the I Am. He is everything you need Him to be in your life.

sometimes to see god you have to close your eyes and stop looking at him with human eyes. maybe hes beyond your understanding. maybe to experience god you have to evolve inside and when you do you will see him in everything. its not a him anyway. god is everything, god is love, how can you see love? best way to see it is go within yourself or in nature.

He have been appear to many people, maybe you can't see God, but you can see the air either and you feel it, right? the same happens with God, I have never seen Him face to face but I can assure that I have feel His presence around me many, many times. You don't need to see Him face to face to believe and if you want to feel Him by your side, just open your heart and give Him the chance to change your life, He will talk to you and you will no need to see Him.... anyways, he will made you happy, believe me, is something that you have to experience by yourself.  As far as I know you breath the oxygen that came out of trees, have you been able to see it?

What if there was an ultimate being of some sort and they died leaving behind a memory.  

Then again, we could have been lizards and fish 100 million years ago from mars debris of fossils with cells that generated us.

God created this universe.  God lives in His own universe, that which most of us call Heaven.  Space and time are two things that we have in this universe that we don't know are in the other universe on the same scale.  It takes both to be 'in synchronicity' for us to see and or talk to someone in any other universe ... and since we don't have the ability to do that, move from one universe to the other, we can't see or have talks 'with' God, with God answering our particular questions.  I have talks with God all the time, but I'm a 'mystic' who can 'read the signs' here on Earth ... and even though I can do that, I do miss some of the signs, or read them the wrong way.  Most people believe that Heaven is 'in the clouds' and that we will all be just the same as we are here, same bodies (although somehow made 'perfect'), similar buildings as homes and even places of work ... that is not the way it is, though.  I know my husband and I are going to Heaven, but I don't know that we'll have 'bodies' as we think of them here, and we are so close we may be in the same 'being' ... and even then, I don't know that I'll be able to 'see' God as if he is a 'human' ... we could be bacteria God is cultivating to fight a plague, or we could be 'bodyless, spirit only' ... but I do know that when we are in Heaven, God will tell us 'the rest of the story' before he sends us out to do our 'real jobs' for which life on earth is just 'schooling.'

Maybe not all of us are worthy to be in His presence.  God has said in the scriptures "Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord" (Heb 12:14)

However I would like to submit that some people (aka the holy prophets) who, through the choices they make in their lives and the Grace of Christ can withstand God's presence and receive revelation from Him--recorded in the scriptures.

The ones seeking after some sort of sign strike me as being a lazy generation without the where with all to think for themselves or to take the time to investigate the possibility of there being a God rather than simply parroting the views of others who say that there isn't a God. I think what is more pathetic is when we think that our 5 senses have the ability to know [everything]. And if we can not sense something with our 5 senses, it means it doesn't exists. It's like our 5 senses are a God.

Our 5 senses, as amazing as they are, were created by SOMETHING. That SOMETHING, we can't prove by science. Science doesn't really know what created us, we can only "imply" by what our 5 senses show us, the 5 senses which were created by that SOMETHING. But what if that SOMETHING limited our five senses to some things?

Why is all of our hope and trust in our 5 senses? Do we not realize it was created by that unknown SOMETHING?

That's why I can't be an Atheist.
