  1. say goodbye to cotto after 1 defeat IF HE LOSES GET A GRIP

theres no shame in losing a fight in a boxing career 95% + have lost a fight or more, people learn from losses makes them better fighters,

love gomez but cotto will win by ko round 6

  2. It is a good probability, but if it does happen, Cotto would go and fight him again and in some mysterious way, he would knock him out just to have the promoters jumping for a profitable fight against Floyd.

In reality it shouldn't happen though, AND I don't understand why Cotto's people not putting the pressure on the media to get the Cotto vs Mayweather fight, as we all know Cotto is risking it everytime, and he is not getting younger and his fighters are not getting weaker.

  3. I agree with Elmer if Gomez wins you should say goodbye to Cotto vs. Mayweather. But I highly doubt Gomez will win. But in boxing anything can happen. But Cotto is more probable to win.

  4. well if it does happen it will line up a DREAM MATCH of Mayweather v Gomez haha :p

  5. 100% lmao agreed

  6. absolutely. i think if cotto loses in the near future it will be a good excuse for floyd

  7. That's a pretty big IF, odds are good Gomez is a money fight for Cotto, I don't really think there is much of a chance of Gomez pulling off an upset that big.  If he does manage to KO Cotto, it would be as big an upset as Buster Douglas KOing Tyson.  Cotto is pretty much at his peak, and if Mosley couldn't derail Cotto, Gomez would have to pull a Tarver like miracle to do it.  An upset of that magnitude at this stage in Cotto's career would be a set back, but a Mayweather/Cotto fight is unlikely anyway, it's pretty obvious Floyd is afraid of any serious welterweight, and Cotto most of all.  After beating Shane Mosley, Cotto would have to promise in writing to only use one hand in order to get Floyd to agree to fight him.  I am more interested in a Cotto/Margarito fight should both Cotto and Margarito win their fights.  That is much more realistic than Mayweather/Cotto.

I said good by to Cotto/Mayweather when I saw the look on Floyd's face when Merchant asked Floyd about the fight.  I saw fear not dollar signs in Floyd's eyes, sorry bro, it just isn't going to happen.  If it does, Cotto will beat Mayweather, in fact he already has, they just haven't fought yet.

  8. yessir and than you can say goodbye to miguel

  9. If Gomez beat Cotto, I believe alot of people will jump off the band wagon and look for some one else. If Cotto lose he still will be none as a good fighter. Yes, PBF will be talking about it. I wouldnt' be supprise if he chose to fight Gomez. The thing with Margo and PBF. Margo is trying to get over the elite hill not PBF. Margo is trying to prove he's not a joke not PBF. Clottey almost beat Margo with a injured hand and it still was a close decision. I can see Clottey or Margo giving Cotto his first lost. Lets say Gomez lose but give Cotto a hard fight. Do you think he can come off that and fight another hard fight against Margo? If he beats Margo, do you think he can come off another hard fight and Beat PBF, Clottey are who ever the top guys are? Back to Back to Back hard fights. I dont think so, until he prove me wrong. It will be a L in one of those fights. I believe who ever beats Cotto, PBF will come behind that and beat that guy. He would have Cotto belt and Cotto would be trying to get it back.

  10. yup, it will be another excuse for floyd not to fight cotto. That's why I hope margarito dont fight cotto if he beats cintron of course. I really think margo can beat cotto. I rather have cotto fight mayorga so he can maybe get a chance with floyd. Hey floyd did the same thing with margo. He didnt wanna risk getting his hand injured against margo so he skiped him and took a more secure fight so he can get the big money fight with oscar.

  11. You never know. Judah lost to Baldimor and still got a fight with Mayweather. If you want to read about this fight head on over to http://www.fightjunkie.com/predictions they have a write-up on the fight and also a forum where you can go and chat about this and many other fight related stuff.

  12. yes i believe for a while, but we should probaly say hello to carlos quintana especially if he beats paul williams again, And if Mayweather dosnt fight him after that then Quantana-Mosley will be the top contender fight.

  13. Yes becasue you know how boxing fans are as soon as a guy loses they want to say "oh the guy was overrated"

  14. Yup.  We should probably say goodbye to Cotto as well.

  15. Floyd is such an opportunist he'd sign to fight Gomez after the 2nd DLH fight.
