Question:

If Gustav hits the Southern Coast...?

First off, God forbid it does, I don't wish harm to anybody and honestly hope it doesn't hit at all but....in the event it does...will the people praise the quick response of the govt for letting them know that they need to leave b/c there is a hurricane coming, or will they once again blame President Bush for a slow response in doing what the local government failed to do in the first place?

What are your thoughts?

  1. they will blame bush ..again !!  they never take responsibility for their own actions. when katrina was heading towards new orleans , they were warned to get out. some people did , others stayed put. when you make the decision to stand your ground against mother nature { well , God did give us the abilities to see that this was a major hurricane and no one paid attention..hm-mm }  and you lose..that is your own fault !!! God has given us the resources to see the size of these storms because he cares for us ,  but as usual , WE fail him by not using the technology given and deciding that we know better and can save ourselves by placing our elected officials decisions ahead of his , and not heading warnings. just my opinion , some may thumbs down me , but i could care less. if a hurricane that size was hitting near me , i would go inland , and quick !!! i did live in Houston and went through hurricanes before. i know when i am beat !!!
