  1. It could create a problem, if she would resign or leave before her term expires.  There does not seem to be anything to keep him from being President.  The XXII Amendment deals with being elected more than twice.  It does not state the number of years that one can serve as President. Still the change over would be very controversial.

The Constitution does not specifically ban the President and Vice President from being from the same state.  Article 2, section 1 says that "The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves."

ADDENDUM: Good point shaizam. I think you are right.  That changes a lot of what said above.

  2. yes he can, and he can be selected to be put into a cabinet position also.  he has 2 more year that he can actually be president, but he can't be elected to it. it has to be by succession.

  3. yes his terms dont count as vp hope to god that that doesnt happen

  4. Everyones really confused here.

Yes he could be! But it unlikely he will because he has many duties as the first man such as first ladies do. His terms as president would not prevent him from becoming vice. If something was to happen to Ms.Cinton then he would not become the president. It would be passed to the speaker of the house and not him.

It's more likely that Obama or Edwards would be vice pres if they accepted the role.

  5. I'd prefer Hillary/Obama or Obama/Hillary.

  6. No, Bill can only serve 10 years as President.  The only way he could be vice president is if something happened to Hillary's vice president after two years and she had to appoint a new one.  Pretty much, the chances are very slim.

  7. According to the U.S. Constitution - Amendment 12:

". . . no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."

In other words, since William Jefferson Clinton has already been President twice, he cannot ever again be the President.  Therefore, he is "constitutionally ineligible" to be the President, and, thus, cannot be the Vice-President, either.

  8. YUP

  9. Wishful thinking!...She nor Osama are electable.

  10. Nope.  The same time requirement for President applies to Vice-President.  Once you do your 8 years you are done.

  11. no.....................hahahaha. kids these days.

  12. SAD STORY IT WOULD BE

  13. According to the Constitution, the President and Vice President cannot be from the same state and they live together.  Bill would have to move out of state before the nominating convention
