Those that say NASCAR was meant to be an American sport of American cars, for American's only are narrow-minded, and hypocritical.

They watch the races on televisions most likely made in Japan.

They discuss NASCAR on their computers made in Japan.

They wear their NASCAR T-shirts most likely made in Sri Lanka.

Face it, it's a global world we live in.

In this day & time it would not suprise me one bit. I personaly never thought I would live to see the day when toyota made it into nascar. I just think about it sometime what DALE would say about things like this.

they might as well let BMW in then...then h**l let every other major car automaker that is interested in competing for NASCAR...i know they wouldnt but then they would have to change the whole NASCAR came because it wouldnt be that anymore

It would be weird, but I wouldn't be devastated if they did. It would just be another car on the track.

NASCAR is already going downhill since they allowed Toyota in. That's what it's all about-$$$$. Nothing else.  Volvo could join. $$$$ and the France family will welcome them.All the cars are the same-all they have to do is buy motors from say, Hendrick. The cars simply have different decals for whatever brand. We in our group  refer to the COT as the c**p Of Today.

nothing there is very little diference between engines at first it's the teams engine shop that make them diferent and there all made in america so everyone stop crying about this american bs

No problem here, would just expand the competition as Toyota from Japan has already entered the field.  Might be interesting to note how they handle the design and possibly get the Asian countries interested in NASCAR;  it's not like our founding motors fear such a challenge.

I think Honda would not be the best right away, but in the hands of a good organization, it could very well be like Toyota now.
