If Hurricane Gustav levels New Orleans will the Saints and Hornets relocate permanently?

I hope the city is spared and that nothing bad happens. I have friends in Beaumont and they are being evacuated. That being said I'm wondering if greedy owners Tom Benson and George Shinn would use this as an excuse to move their respective franchises away from the Crescent City. Benson tried to do it with Katrina and Shinn hinted at it as well. I wonder if this time they will follow through with their threats

  1. no but they say if it is bad they could have opener for saints could be at tampa bay instead and at new orleans when they were scheduled to play @ tampa

  2. Yes i think LA is the City  they will be looking at.

  3. If there is a New Orleans, I think they are contractually obligated to stay.  Unless, of course, they buy their way out.

  4. NOLA is evacuated now and they announced days ago that the Superdome won't be used as a shelter.

They might have to play the first games elsewhere, but it seems that they definitely learned from the past.
