  1. no.

  2. It's never too late to start. We have middle aged people start all the time in our karate class. I encourage you to do it.

You should be in an adult class, so I would think most of the people will actually be older then you.

  3. If you ask me, you're still too young to NOT take martial arts.

  4. not at all, I didn't start training martial arts till I was 23.  I wish I could go back in time and tell myself to start earlier.

    go for it!!

  5. GO FOR IT MAN! i hope u go onto become a good champion. i too was a late bloomer and i love what i do now. judo is practiced by many of the elderly today aswell. good luck to ya man

    hope this was somewhat useful

  6. Judo training can start at any age. There is no upper age limit on when you can start Judo.  British Judo Association members ranged from five to 85. As for starting Judo later (e.g. over 50 years old) in life, whilst one might not expect to reach Olympic standard there are still goals to be achieved. The BJA Dan Grade Register has on record a man who started Judo aged 54 and in eight years achieved his 1st Dan black belt!

Judo is an ideal form of physical education. The beginner concentrates on getting the technique right, and during this process inevitably improves general fitness. The bonus is stamina improvement, which equips on better for the rigors of day-to-day life.

  7. never to late even in your 50"s or 60"s

  8. Nope, it's never too late, until you're around 60-65

  9. no many dont start until there 20s one of my coaches didnt start until he was 43

  10. not at all just google schools in your area that you might like to go to

  11. never too late, my friend was just telling me a story about his grandfather, who was paralyzed on the right side of his body. He started doing martial arts as treatment, and managed to work past his paralysis and just recently attained black belt at age 82.

in fact, some people say that you shouldn't begin until you're at least 18. I don't agree with this, but 16 is certainly not too late. nor is 85.

and if you're in a class with mostly little kids, maybe try convincing you're friends to come train with you. I have about 6 of my friends training with me right now, who just started recently all around the same time and are in the same class. it's a blast!

  12. Absolutely not.  Judo is a great form to learn, and one you can practice until you're past 60 yrs of age.

  13. Its never too late to do anything you set your heart to !

  14. Not at all, my brother is 23 and he just started. He loves it.

  15. No, go join now and stop assuming. It is never to late to join an art. Even if you do judo with little kids, you're still progressing. And don't underestimate them, they can probably kick our asses.

  16. No its not too late I never started martial arts until I was 17 and judo will get you very fit and once you have that as a base then perhaps you could try,jiu-jitsu,Aikido,Karate etc.

Good luck and best wishes :)***
