  1. No, but you can't get your license either way until you turn 18. My advice however would be to not pay for driver's training either because u have to wait 6 months either way.


  2. no, the legal age to get the driver license in US is 16. I believe you can just go in and take the written test to get your permit. if you think you are good enough, just schedule the driving test appointment and get your official California Driver License!!
