I was born in the US and I am traveling to Canada this summer. I was wondering if you had to do something different for a boating license in Canada.

    If you plan to operate a motor-driven vessel for pleasure purposes in this country, you must have an Pleasure Craft Operator's Card. An equivalent card or certificate issued by your home state will suffice as proof of competency.
