  1. Greetings,

I'm a NYS Earth Science teacher upstate New York.  Regents rules state you need 1200 total minutes of lab time.  Only passing labs will count. Some of my labs run two days (80 minutes).  Some run one (40 minutes).  Add them up! And chances are if you didn't make the total, you should have been told by now.  Good Luck!

  2. If you don't have a total of 30 labs, you can't take it :( My teacher gave us "30" labs, but some of them counted for more than one NYS lab, so even if we had a few of his missing, as long as we had most of the other ones that were worth more handed in, we can take it. Wouldn't your teacher have told you if you were missing one? If by chance you can't take it, I think they have another one in August, and then in January, so for kids in summer school and such.

  3. im pretty sure you dont need 30 labs, but 30 hours of lab time. at least thats how it was when i took the regents a few years ago. i'm retty sure your teacher would have told you though.

  4. It's not number it's hours. For ours we did more labs so we could be missing 4 and still take it

  5. you need 30 labs u have to have 30
