I work for the county council full time and work privately for about 10 days a year for other people on offical pay roles etc so want to check if I'm on maternity leave from one if I have to be on leave from them all? Thanks

No you can't. Although, I seen people working as agency-hired in the NHS whilst on maternity leave from their full-time job.
