If I'm selling my car and my last name is...?

now different since Ive been married. Should I sign the title how it reads

or how my name is now since that how motor vehicles has it registered now?

probably ur new name but wright a note saying it has recently changed and give the old name.

The best thing to do would be to call the vehicle registration office for your county. They'll be able to give you an accurate answer. Their number will be in one of the front areas of the phone book.

I believe that it doesn't really matter since your madien name is considered an alias, but like I said call the reg. office.

Your legal name is how it appears on your social security card as far as the federal government is concerned. SSA has a toll-free number in the blue pages of our phone book..
