If I'm taking a round-trip (airline), and I must print my passes within 24 hours of my flight (i think, is that so?), but I don't think that I will have access to a printer while there (as I will be on a cruise ship). I'm using Continental Airlines. Please help! I've never flown before and I don't know how all of this works! Thanks!

  1. Hey, Just print the passes quickly at a printing shop before you get to the ship! If you get any trouble, Ask the crew they will help you, Just do everything before you get to the ship!  Its the easiest way im only 15 and ive travelled on my own! Just ask people for help make sure to do everything before you get on the ship and keep everything organized!

  2. The ship should have a business center where you can access your email and print the passes.

    have a good trip!!

  3. Your ship will have an internet cafe that you can use for a modest fee.

  4. You don't have to print your boarding passes ahead of time - it's just a service that the airlines provide to make things a bit easier when checking in.

Just get to the airport early enough for your return flight (1-2hrs early) and you will get your boarding pass when you check in.  It's no big deal at all, and many people still do it that way instead of printing their passes early.

Internet access on the boat will be expensive, so I'd definitely wait.

  5. You CAN check in online and print your board passes 24 hours ahead of time, but you do NOT have to.

  6. If you don't have access to the net, you can just get your passes at the airport.  The main advantage to checking in early is it saves a few minutes at the airport, and you might have a chance at a better seat.

BTW, internet access on a cruise is VERY expensive.  I'd wait.

  7. you can check in online and print your boarding pass when you get to the airport if you wanted to. Or you can just check in and print your boarding pass when you get to the airport. You dont have to do it online.
