  1. studying won't do you any good right now because you haven't learned the material. I took the test this year and I got my study guide over christmas break.

No becuase it will be too complicated.  Hopefully, you have a good teacher who is able to make it through the entire course (mine did with 3 weeks to spare).  I suggest buying a book to read instead of the textbook which is incredibly  long, boring, and dry.  Mine, 5 steps to a 5, is 300 pages compared to 1100.  It will be easier to go through the information with your teacher because you will learn that EVERYTHING in APUSH builds off one another.

    FYI, you're likely in for a tough DBQ because ours was super easy this year.

  3. Im  not an AP expert so get other opinions but i think that if you really want to, then go ahead because the material in the yearly books probably does not change that much
