If I've already seen When A Stranger Calls (remake), should I still watch the original Black Christmas?

I know When A Stranger Calls was kind of supposed to be a sequel to Black Christmas but the stories sound really really similar, so I don't know if Black Christmas will still be very scary since I kind of already know what's going on. Is it worth it?

the original   is always worth  watching  .. scary  nope it is not well for me it was not  still a great movie Black Christmas 1974

then you have  Black Christmas 2006  watch the 2 of them

Of course. In my experience, the original is always far better than the remake. With the possible exception of Ocean's Eleven, both of them are very good.
