no, i dont think so. i suppose it depends on the laws in the town/state where you live though. ive seen dogs on tv that have been dyed and i have a friend whos dyed her cat. just make sure to use animal safe dye. im sure there are lots of pet supply companies that sell it. ive seen it in their catalogs.

I'm not completely sure but I wouldn't do it.

#1 I'm not so sure the dog would like it.  Some people do strange things like that to their animals but you have to think about the dog.  Would it really enjoy the smell of the dye?  Would it like the fact it was being turned orange?  Would it really like sitting there and having his hair dyed?  I don't think it would

Your dog can't talk, s/he can't tell you whether s/he would want their fur dyed orange!!!  You have to think about it from all angles before you go wondering if it's considered animal cruelty.

I honestly wouldn't do it, I really doubt the dog would like it.  Sensitive noticed, smell of the dye, sitting there, if I was a dog I would hate it, but I don't know your dog, you know your dog.  So you have to think about him or her and think about whether or not that's what they would want.

No I don't see how it would be considered animal cruelty when they sale animal dye. Just make sure it is animal dye and really I would recommend taking it to the groomer to make sure you were being as safe as possible for you dog.

I don't think it would be considered "cruelty" and I don't think you would get fined....but I do think.........your dog would not like it, I don't recomend you doing it.....in fact...........please dont.........
