If I Got A DVD Player Last Christmas Will It Play Blu-ray?

It's a DVD recorder, do you think it supports or has a chance of supporting blu-ray?

Nope, not possible with the hardware.  DVD Players use Red Optical Eyes while Blu-Ray uses you guessed it a Blue Optical Eye.  But a Blu-Ray player can play a DVD.

Nope a DVD player is only for DVD's and CD's if it has a MP3 player. You can play it with a PS3

lol you said DVD player. If it was a Blue Ray player you would be able to play both DVDs and Blue Ray discs. however DVD players do not support Blue Ray discs. DVD's and Blue Ray Discs are completely different things.  Sorry to burst you bubble.

theyre both pretty expnensive but i heard it awesome watching blu ray dvds

It usually says on the DVD player or in the manual.
