You should be fine to get your hair braided.  Make sure you moisturize your hair before you braid your hair as the synthetic hair is so drying.  Also make sure you spray your hair every few days so that the braids don't dry out your natural hair.

you dont have to wait to style it after you dye it! you have to wait 2 days to wet it but you can style it right after you dye your hair! braid it or what ever! it wont matter!
