I am 55 and sucessful however, my wife and my own child think that I graduated. Any kind of background check will show that I haven't. I have three years of college completed. How should I answer educational background without giving up my secret?( I will be graduating on line in about a year without them knowing.)

  1. Reporting the actual number of years completed at college would be to your advantage as far as ensuring credibility with the adoption agency. If they were to find your info to be incorrect then your adoption process could come to a halt or lead to be denied further processing. Bite the bullet and if the subject arises in your family, own up to your misleading oversight.

  2. just be honest and precise. if you never told anyone that you havent done something then they have only assumed that you have.
