  1. You can join the military at 17 but you need your parents consent, 18 you can sign without it.  Alot of the time if you are younger than 17/18 you can sign a contract saying that you will go in once you turn that age but dont be fooled.  That is not permanent you can back out of it.  Once you sign on the dotted line when you are 18 though you are in for good.  Im in the Coast Guard at the moment

  2. There are reserve recruiters that have all the answers.

Random people on the internet can make anything up and don't have the same resources.

I know you can take the ASVAB at 16 through a reserve recruiter, but I went active at 17 so I don't know.

  3. Read this. and next time, try not to be a lazy 15 year old and go looking for your info first.

  4. You can join with your parents permission when you are 17 or 18 without.  Please finish high school - you'll be glad you did.

In the meantime you can join the Sea Cadets and/or the Sea Scouts.

  5. You used to be able to do it by lying.  You can still buy a fake ID but it's tougher because of Homeland Security.  Boys 12 fought in the Civil War. 15 year olds in WW1. /

  6. When you turn 18 you can

  7. Yeah at 17 however, you can take the ASVAB at 16 since your scores are good for up to 2 years. Talk to a reserve recruiter, you need parents consent at 17. Go to http://www.mynavyonline.com Im KJC88 there we can help more.  Good luck!
