  1. You are most welcome any where. The way people are going on here would make you think that we are intolerant of all religions.

You dont have to worry, I would say the republic would be the better option. I am a catholic and I have friends  who are Church of Ireland, from the republic so its no bother. People generaly wont care what religion you are.

  2. Northern Ireland. Mostly protestant.

Most of the country is made up of the Republic of Ireland, which is predominantly Catholic.

This difference used to be the cause of much violence, however it has calmed down considerably in the last 10-15 years.

  3. Probably best to stay in the Republic of Ireland...people couldnt care less what religion you are here!

  4. Any part.  Nobody really cares

  5. I don't think you'd necessarily be unwelcome anywhere.  However, Ireland is mostly Catholic while Northern Ireland is a mix of Protestants and Catholics who don't get along very well.

  6. If you don't intend to wear a bright orange shirt that proclaims your religious affiliation then why worry?

If you are worried then perhaps you should stay in the U.S.??

  7. most people don't care about religion over here, but it would be a different story if you were going to hold a load of prayer meetings in your front garden or something, but in general, people couldn't care less
