I am a U.S. citizen and I want to visit Canada for a week. I don't have a passport, but I do have a driver's license. What document is necessary for this trip? I think laws have changed, but I don't know what they are.

  3. Passport...you may not leave to visit Canada without a passport

  4. driver's licence or birth certificate will do it. they talked about changing the law in january of this year, but it didnt happen...
