  1. In the USA, there are many, many jobs that don't ask if you are a felon.

I would caution you not to lie about it on any application.  Lying about a criminal past is proof you haven't really learned your lesson, and it sounds as if you have.  I have hired felons in the past and they've been great employees.

I advise NOT to use your felony conviction as an excuse why people won't hire you.  Losers find excuses.  Winners don't have excuses.

Your felony conviction will make your initial job search more difficult, that is to be expected....you committed a felony.  But once you are working, work harder than everyone else, always show up to work on time, be polite, be kind, always smile, and you can have whatever you want out of life.

Best of luck.  Remember, no excuses.

  2. You can apply only for criminal jobs! If they see a felony it's a plus! Or become a politician they'll take anyone!

  3. There are millions of so-called felons and millions more with misdeameanor records. Who in America, at some time hasn't been busted for something. lbj was a speed hog, Bush for DUI and even though he wasn't busted....heh....Bill Clinton sure can't preach morality now can he....(lol)  Many cops have misdeameanor records, most probably get them expunged. But the fact is that still makes them hypocrites.! same goes for da's judges and jurys. I have never met abyone who doesn't have something to hide in their background. America wreaks with social double standards.....there's an old saying in the US Marines...." do anything, but don't get caught."

I have met many ex felons working in places like Walmart and Home Depot for instance, they work and behave just like anyone else, but thanks to an overzealous FBI and judicial system, they are marked for life. In most cases informations about their arrests moreso than court outcomes is circulated among the law enforcement fraternity and it's not hard for anyone with a cop connection to have an NCIC check ran on them. Idealistically, when time is served, people should be given a chance to start afresh, but in a World of law enforcement zealots like the FBI and Interpol an organization once under n**i control and unaccountable to anyone, the dis-information and character assasination continues perpetually. And history shows us that their isn't such a thing as an honest cop or legislator, with thr exception of individuals like Serpico and his fellow officers, branding him a rat tried to whack him.

  4. Construction work is about the only place that doesn't care.  I think just about everyone else checks sooner or later.

  5. Any construction job where you know the skills and if you can do a good job. There are construction jobs all over. Good Luck!

  6. Good Luck!! My son is a felon and everywhere he goes to apply he's honest and they keep turning him down because of it.  He has found some places that don't care but very few and very low pay.  If your not on paper check on bartending, some bars don't care about felonies.  Good luck to you.
