If I am correct only seal teams use the m60 anymore?

Correct only seal teams use the m60 why is this its a really d**n good gun.

Wrong, although the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon) was created to replace the venerable M60 there was a need to reissue the M60 for the current conflicts in both Iraq and Afganistan. It is being used by regular forces and special forces.

The seals use to use it but They use M249 or 240  which is saw its lighter and easy to use  m60 use to be good but the person is limited mobility wise because of  its length its like rambo trying to sneak in a base hoping they wont hear his bullets dangling around his body.  Which Saw they can use a regular m16 clip or saw clip almost same amount of firepower but on the m60 its hard to direct accurrate fire on that unless its on the tripod .. A regular infantry would benefit it more than seal team.  Trust me in A firefight rambo would been dead  because his just holding it not aiming it he could aim but h**l burn his hands from a hot barrel

Yes more or less your on the right track,but you must understand this.each mission a team will use weapons that are not on the normal "we use list" this is why they are called Missions and  are on a need to know  only! in some missions where we are deployed we use alot of the weapons from that spot,and their ammo.this has several reasons why this is done.but on a full scale war we do use the standard weapons of the time plus a few good old ones like the good old B>A>R.
