  1. Has the immigrant arrived in the United States?  If yes, there's nothing you can do.  The affidavit of support is good until the immigrant works and pays Social Security taxes for 10 years or until the immigrant becomes a US citizen.  

    You're on the hook.

    If the immigrant has not arrived you should contact the USCIS Center where you filed the petition and the National Visa Center and pull the petition.


  2. Yes, I would think still you can. You may contact the colsest immigration office where you live.  They can give you the best advice.

  3. You will have many hoops to jump through trying to prove you didnt have a "marriage of convenience"
