  1. Yes, you need a passport to cross the border into Canada by plane.  Or if you drive, you'll need a birth certificate and photo ID.

  2. To see Niagra Falls, you need to go to the town of Niagra Falls New York or Niagra Falls, Ontario.  Views from Canadian Side are best.  You can fly to Buffalo, N.Y....nearest airport.  You MUST have a passport to Fly to Canada , but you do NOT need a passport to cross the border by land...you need a photo I.D. and a proof of citizenship...EITHER a passport OR a birth certificate. Read site below carefully for current info.

  3. If you fly yes, drive no when it comes to a passport.  You are able to view the falls on both the American side and Canadian side.  Most will tell you that the Canada side is the best. But if you dont live as close as I do check out both sides for the best overall.
