  2. Probably not; I have a 12-23, 12-25 and 12-27. I use them all interchangeably on different wheels depending on where I ride.

Yep...no worries.  Your derailleur has enough take-up in the spring to handle a change of several teeth in the rear gearing.   Don't forget to adjust the b-s***w setting when you go to the new cassette, though....if you don't, you may get alot of rubbing or be unable to shift up to the big cog, depending on where it's set now.
