If I am going on a Cruise on June 2nd to Cozumel, Mex and the hurricane/tropical storm is in that area, what?

other destination would they take us to if Mexico is out of the question? Has anybody ever been in the situation with Carnival Cruise Lines?

Depending on the weather Carnival will re-route the cruise ship to a different port of call.  If your not leaving till tomorrow you should be fine though, its suppose to rain real bad today but taper off.  Right now Mexico has the ship docks closed in the areas that are affected by the tropical storm but things change fast.  It all depends on if Cozumel is your first or last port of call.  Either way if the weather is bad you will be sent somewhere else to have fun.  Their main concern is to keep their passengers as far away from bad weather as possible to keep them safe.  Have fun......... we did when we went.  :-)

the storm is south of Cozumel.  I was on a Carnival cruise a few years ago and we had to bypass Grand Cayman.
