I have been hit by a HGV in the rear and it has caused signficant damage to my motor. Will I end up paying more in insurance premiums?

  1. Yes, you do, the same thing happened to me.

  2. Alas, I've seen it happen on policies where I work as an insurance broker; the companies have been unsympathetic when I've tried to argue to get the premium adjusted upon renewal, even when the facts show that the other party was 100% at fault and ticketed.
