If I am not happy with either side, do I still have to vote?

This is all hypothetical, to let you know. I'm not old enough to even vote in the first place.

I'm not impressed in the slightest by Obama-Biden or McCain-Palin and I haven't seen any good prospective Independents yet. Since there is no "None of the Above" selection and no ticket that appeals to me, do I still have to vote, or should I just make a write-in?

  1. No you don't have to vote.

  2. When your old enough to vote, you don't have to, but it'd be in your best interest to exercise that right and pick the lesser of two evils or write in who-ever you think is best qualified.

  3. Don't Vote, Sir Nigel, by doing so, you would be giving your approval of him for president.  By voting you are saying that you see that individual as the man who represents your interests and deserves that power.

    Don't do it.

  4. No..since you are a malcontent ..just let other make the decesion who the next POTUS is..better to just not watch the news..watch

    the cartoon network..no worries?

  5. Sweetie, I've been around the block a few times. I've seen good times and bad times. And without fail, the bad times were under a Republican controlled Congress and White House. I absolutely wish we had viable third parties, but in the meantime, this blue-collar girl would rather die than vote for a ****ing Republican.

  6. Take a look at all the write in votes plus the legit third party candidates and tell me that you can not find a legit vote. How many did you examine? I quit looking after trying to trace the 93 candidate!

EDIT: If you do not vote in the booth then you have cast a vote. That vote is to allow others the chance to totally control your fate.

  7. I recommend reading up on all their views on major issues. Do you support the war, the need for equilibrium in nature, abortion issues? Read up on the issues! I am not really fond of either candidate myself, but when it comes down to it Obama embodies more of the ideals I find important than McCain does!

  8. No you certainly do not have to vote I wish I could find the George Carlton video about him saying that if you don't vote you can complain about the situation....

  9. Don't waste our time, go away kid, you bother me.

    I do like kids.....fried   [W.C. Fields]

Hopefully you will study and learn some things, and maybe even figure out that the universe doesn't revolve around you before you are of voting age.  Your uneducated opinion is worthless in this case.

  10. You don't have to vote if you don't like anyone. The point isn't to "vote", the point is to vote by means of a well informed, educated, and passionate decision.

  11. There is no law forcing you to vote, dumbass.

If we thought you should HAVE to vote, we would have passed laws saying you do.

In our society, everybody has the right and freedom to vote............. OR NOT TO VOTE.

Sorry I called you dumbass.  I get called that all day long.

And congrats on your stellar school performance. We live in a society where old people have a superiority complex and actually believe that a jobless 73 IQ  forty-three year old beer guzzling woman in a trailer park... is somehow superior, more mature and intelligent than a young person with a genius IQ studying law or medicine. It's a little arrogant quirk older people have..

  12. Write in is aq vote that wont mean diddly, but it is still your right to expres your opinion. asa lifelong hardcore republican, i must admit I am extremely disenfranchised by the candidtates and my own party. I wish there were a none of the above box, and that it meant something. I may write in mick e. mouse. fact is there isn't an option for this but as long as you vote you have the right to complain, no votes do not in my opinion.

  13. In my opinion, you should only vote for someone that you actually want in office. If you vote for "the lesser of two evils" you are ensuring that evil is what you will get.

  14. You should vote by not leaving your great country to this:
