  1. Respond as follows: "I am sorry. I was wrong". This is the most dignified way and usually takes the wind out of people's sails because they are expecting an argument. It is admirable when people admit they were wrong.

  2. The most dignified thing to do would be to say sorry and own up to it as you are only going to make it worse by arguing further as people will just think you are lying.

  3. It takes a man to admit he was wrong, just say sorry and accept that you have learnt something. I notice you usually do that anyway!!!

    Verstaan?

  4. After admitting that you were wrong, laugh at yourself immediately so that they see no point in laughing at you.

  5. The most dignified way is to simply admit it. But you know that don’t you?.... You are intelligent enough to know, and you do not truly need us to tell you how to go about admitting that you were wrong.

If you are using this question as a mind game to gloat over somebody that you believe was wrong and basically want the answers to be ‘a finger pointing in their face’….then you, dear Sir will remain wrong…regardless.

  6. There's nothing more dignified than saying you are sorry. You know of the cliché "sorry is the hardest thing to say", but I believe that is the most dignified way of admitting that you were wrong.

  7. You just say "ok so ur right this time"..
