  1. No, she was royal by marriage.  My aunt (she married my uncle) is from India and I am not Indian, and that is like the same thing, sort of but you know what I mean.

  2. no, she married into the royal family, it probably wouldn't even make you nobility. but it does make you related to our two beautiful princes william and harry!

  3. No. Diana was aristocratic by birth and royal by marriage;she lost the HRH after her divorce(it is possible that she would have been restored to royal status by her son,William...maybe even by Charles,if William wished it).The Spencers held an earldom, only those who are in direct succession can be titled:the earl's wife and children, the earl's heir, who is the eldest son.

You can claim no titles from you distant link to the Spencers, just the relationship.

  4. Diana was only a Princess by marriage. She was a Lady before and after. You are distantly related and she is not royalty so therefore you aren't royalty.

    Sorry =[

  5. No because she married into the family. Also you are royalty if you are a blood realative of the royal family and not like really far down the line. I think they stop at the sixth cousin to her majesty.

  6. No.

  7. No, you are SOL

    best of luck to you!

  8. NOOOOOOO you have to be like her daughter or something like really close to her...

  9. Absolutely not. Even when you are a close relative of Her Majesty, you might still not be royal. Mr Peter Phillips is the Queen's eldest grandson and he is not royal(he is however in line of succession to the British Throne!)

  10. Sorry.  You are an affinity only.

  11. You're bragging.  No one likes a gasconader.

  12. The late, Diana Princess of Wales was not "royalty" and she was never a "royalty" even when she was married to Prince Charles. She was a commoner, and her royal titles and styles was a courtesy title bestowed upon her through her marriage to Prince Charles, and was stripped away when she divorced him.

Diana is however an aristocrat, she had Stuart ancestry and was the illegitimate descendant of Charles II, and a descendant of Mary Boleyn, sister of the famous Anne Boleyn and royal mistress of Henry VIII of England.

Note: Her legally title was Her Royal Highness Diana, Princess of Wales. As in life, she is most popularly referred to as "Princess Diana", a title she never held since she was not a princess by birth. However, she was legally "The Lady Diana Frances Spencer" by birth and right coming from an aristocrat background.

  13. Diana was royalty by marriage, not by birth. Being related to her would not make you royalty, just give you a nice little tidbit of personal trivia.

I'm related to Alfred Jennings who was with Jesse James gang and founded Oklahoma as a state.

I'm related to 60's pop idol Chris Montez ( don't worry, alot of people don't know who that is)

My maternal grandma was friends with serial killer Richard Speck before he was a killer

My paternal great-grandfather was a marijuana farmer who escaped an execution by Pancho Villa

Everybody has something interesting in their family tree. It's fun when you can tell it.
