  1. Cliffs of Moher, most beautiful place on Earth!

  2. Go visit www.bordfailte.com for ideas

    THATs "BORD FAILTE"

I think Arrive at Shannon airport go south to Dingle , do the ring of Kerry and stay in the smaller villages.where you will meet more people in the "pubs" The pubs are the areas social centres and a great help for tourists and are totally different to American Bars.!

Also stay iin Bed and Breakfasts. The best way to meet locals , taravellers and get advice with a homely  and genuine touch,

I am Irish and thats what I always reccommend and it seems to work!

    Have Fun!

  3. I think arrive to Cork airport and then take roughly a 2 hour drive to Killarney county Kerry. It is a lovely town with lots of irish culture, and plenty of things to do.

There are lots of shops, shopping centres, small pubs, a beutiful garden and park, (muckross) and very often there are festivals on there. I think riverdance is showing there now!

If you do go, Have fun!!

  4. Fly to Dublin.  Don't leave airport.  Catch flight (30 mins) to Sligo.  Step out of airport into countryside.  Jump in taxi.  Take 5 minute drive to a B&B in Strandhill beach.  Dump bags.  Taking bracing walk along the beach, then stroll to the Strand bar for a pint of Guinness (corny - but has to be done) then stroll up to Austies for dinner.  Few more drinks in the Strand and back to bed.

Nice gentle way to start of your holiday.  Sligo town has many scenic and historical areas to begin your onward journey the following day.

If I was you I would start in Sligo and work my way round the southern coast back to Dublin.
