If I apply for a work Visa to work in UK, can I find a job for a 60 year old?

I am visiting and my passport says I must leave by Dec. 27th. When I go back to America and apply for a Visa I think the only one I can get is a work Visa. Do you know about this? Thank you!

Do you have a standning job offer or a company to sponsor you?

Unless you're a EU citizen, you can't just apply for a work visa without any reason to get the visa.. in most developed countries you will need a work permit in order to work.. those aren't just handed out.

Since you're not a EU citizen, you need a work permit.

In UK, for people from East-Central European countries like Poland, Czech Republic, the new EU members, jobs are very limited. Working in UK is not easy, whether you're a EU citizen or not.

Yes a number of the large retail companies have realised that this age group have something to offer their business . Try B&Q  and ASDA (Wallmart to you )
