  1. When meeting the Queen, you are presented to her. And you must curtsy if female, bow if male. You must not speak to the queen unless she speaks to you first. Would  address her as Your Majesty only after she address you. Then after

that you can reply with "mam", in your replies...i.e. Yes, mam or no mam.

  2. Those are two great bands!

  3. Yes, it doesn't matter who you are, you have to follow the royal protocol.

  4. remember, you must not f**t in her majesties presence xx

  5. YES! If you dont you will be hung drawn and quartered and your head will be stuck on a spike on London bridge.

  6. All depends on your manners and why you think you should be exempt from obeying the rules of protocol when being honoured to meet our beloved Head of State.

Someone incorrectly stated that His Holiness The Pope would have to bow to The Queen - this is incorrect as the rules of protocol state that Heads of State don't bow to one another.

  7. Yep. Every one knows that. She is Royalty one of the old history and tradition. You need to be courtious and gracious. You do not speak unsless spoken to by her. You do not shake hands with you unless she offers it to you. You bow or make a knee fall for the ladies before her. That's how it is done.

  8. Yes, you would be briefed on how to address her and tod not to shake her hand/speak unless she did first. Just because you are not from England does not mean you could disrespect her.

  9. yes because if you show her even a little bit of disrespect they will probably chuck you out maybe chuck you into jail.

  10. yes...for she is the bluddy queen and must be respected....even the Pope must do it to the queen.

  11. As England is a free country you can react any way you like!

I saw her once at a train station in London in the 1980's. Did I curtsey like a good subject? (I am English) no I gawped with my mouth hanging open.

    It does not matter.

  12. Nobody has to do any of it, its not law, just protocol. If you chose to disrespect the history and heritage then you have that right. Anyway she's German too your probably related  ; )

  13. yes as you have to follow royal etiquette

  14. No, you don't "have" to do everything the Birtish way but do remember "When in Rome, do as the Romans" and this means that when you are visiting a new place, you should try to do as the people do who are from the place.

People from different places have different ways of acting, so it is important to try to do things the way people do who are from the place that you are visiting.

    best of luck to you!
