What if I ate 2 cans a day? I'm trying to save money.

  1. I know many people have been forced to eat animals food for years - Mom billed insurance so this is nothing new to me to hear.

  2. For the cost of two cans of dog food a day, you can buy a chicken, stew it, and make chicken-n-dumplings with a can of biscuits.  Total cost would be about $5 and you can make them, freeze them in portions and have good, healthy food for a whole week (or just about a week).  

    They put nasty stuff in dog food, like horse meat, don't eat dog food!

  11. No and I am sure you can find something better and cheaper than dog food. Buy pasta, beans and rice. Go to Angel Food Ministries and get a monthly box of food for $30 (my area) or a food pantry (call churches or 211) or get on Food Stamps.

Try something else,  they have a lot of meat byproducts in dog food and i don't think it tastes as good as the can looks.  It stinks too.  Try going to a food pantry, or a local church to get some food.  also check the sale papers you can find some good sales, budget your money and you should do good,  Ramen Noodles are cheap, also cook a meal and make it stretch.  you don't have to resort to dog food.   13. Contact the manufacturer and ask them if they think it's safe for human consumption. I believe you are under a bad misimpression if you think dogs eat healthier than humans. Dogs eat whatever animal by-[rpducts that are cheapest to grind up and put in a can; fat, gristle, bone, oil, water, and cardboard.

    On the upside, you will probably have a glossy coat.

  14. I think the answer is yes.

    It's a bit tragic but we usually feed our dogs better than our children.  Your kids would be better off eating puppy chow than Fruit Loops.

    Nutritionally speaking the same goes for adults.  Your can of dog food is probably better for you than a can of people food like chili.  

    I believe you will lose weight & your hair will become shiny & pettable.

    Of course if you are trying to save money, buying rice & beans in bulk is cheaper.    Also the cans of dog food cost more than the giant bags of dog food.
