  1. No. Jesus Christ was ressurected on the Sabbath day, so that is why it changed from Saturday to Sunday. Some folks just missed it. It is like people that no nothing about Jesus Christ suffering in the Garden of Gesthemane for all mankinds sins. Yes, He died on the cross, but lets not focos on death, He was ressurected 3 days later, that is the good news. He not only suffered for all our sins, but also has made it possible for all mankind to be resurrected as He was. If people only knew the good news. Now you know.

  2. You make an inaccurate association between attending a communal worship service on a Sunday as though this were like keeping a sabbath.  People who attend church services on a Sunday are not "Sunday keepers."

    .

  3. It wouldn't offend me... I would be amused by it. Jesus did not destroy the law but he did change it. His final instructions to the Apostles never mentioned keeping the Sabbath he just said to assemble yourselves as often as you can. The book of Acts mentions they met on the first day of the week and that's probably how Sunday meetings started. Jesus just said to love him first and to love our neighbor as thyself. These 2 commandments cover all other laws and following them seems to be just as hard as following the first 10 for most folks. Don't sweat the Sabbath. It is not the greatest commandment or Jesus would have told us himself that it was.

  4. Not necessarily. But it comes across as "holier than thou" to wish "Happy Sabbath."  In all humility, it sounds like you have an agenda.  And typically, "Sunday keepers" don't say "Happy Sunday."  Refraining from this greeting is a matter of consideration, graciousness and hospitality.

And going straight to Scripture, consider the following: Romans 14:4-6 (NIV)  Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

  5. You should ask the pastor.

Pastors and congregation members in any given church might think differently about this.

A pastor of any given church will know.

  6. You have been taught incorrectly.  Sabbath was done away with after Christ died. Sabbath was for the Jews anyway.  As Christians we are to rest daily in the word of God and prayer.

You need less church and more Bible study.

  7. Um, What day is the sabbath and what proof is that the sabbath?

Anyways, Jesus is Lord of The Sabbath. And it is not impolite, it just makes no sense cause you know you will not get a Seventh Day Adventist type answer, but I really believe it is a non-essential issue. You are probably more than welcome to come to any of their services or meetings.
