Question:

If I back up the iTunes on my PC and put the backup CD into my Mac, will it transfer my library?

My current iTunes library is on my work laptop and I'd like to switch it to my personal Mac. A friend told me that I should back up iTunes on my PC and then put the CD's in the Mac and it'll transfer. Will that work? My library is on my iPod Touch, would it be easier to just plug my touch into the Mac? Help!

  1. I thought plugging my ipod into the new computer would transfer it - but it doesn't.

  2. Yes, your Windows backup of your iTunes will import fine on the Mac.

  3. if you want to just use your ipod touch to put the music in your libary then you'll need to download a software(free though) like http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/ this one

    hope it helps
