If I bleach my hair...(with Pic)?

I have brown hair at the moment... It is lightish brown with blonde foils and I was wondering if I were to bleach or dye my hair blonde now whether it would go blonde or not?

This is the only picture of my current hair colour that I have. It looks a little darker then it is in the picture too.(I used to have blonde hair)

Yes, it would go blonde. There are people with black hair who can dye their hair blonde.

I've had experience with bleaching my hair. I'll tell you my story and what I suggest.

I had medium brown hair and got a do-it-yourself bleaching kit. The first time I bleached it, it ended up being a really pretty strawberry blonde. I loved the colour (not what I was hoping for but it still looked awesome). Then I was hoping that if I bleached it again, I could get the platinum blonde I was initially hoping for. No luck. It came out looking like a really fake blonde. It was terrible. It also took me forever to get my hair back to a nice brown that didn't turn out green-ish due to the bleach.

So, if you want a nice bleach blonde, I suggest paying the extra cost of getting it done by professionals in a hair salon. Im sure they'll make it just the way you want it. They can do anything! Lol. But don't do what I did and do it yourself. It won't turn out nice. The bleach you buy in stores does not compare to the kind salons use.

Honestly, I think you shouldn't even bother. It's a pain to maintain and it kills your hair. KILLS. I have to pack on the conditioner to have my hair nice and soft still. It used to just be naturally nice and soft. You're hair seems light enough to go for something else not as damaging. Like a bright orange or something. That would look awesome :D.

yes it would be blonde, but I suggest you don't bleach it. When you bleach your hair it destroys the hair cuticle so your color goes away. Its terribly damaging and when you try to dye it again, the color won't hold because the cuticle is destroyed.

yea my friends did the same thing and it came out GREAT!! but yea if you like go in the pool it will possibly turn a slight greenish color ..... but, yea it'll work.

hmm it will go blonde but you wrecking your hair with it aswell im serious if i was you i would go to a hair dresser instead of making my hair like straw because it will die when your like older but anyway you look nice how you are love hope you make the right choice..xx

you would look sooooo cute with bleached blonde hair! i want to bleach my hair too... but i have black hair at the moment :[ don't know how it would come out... with the color your hair is now though it shouldn't be a problem.... oh and is that a monroe in the pic.. or a mole? whatever it is it looks cute :] lol

i think that you would have no problem going back to blond cause your hair iz now that dark. by the way you are a very beautiful girl lol

Just leave it. Its already light..

and from the looks of the picture, it looks like

your hair is damaged, so you should cut it

and let it grow back until its healthy.

i did have almost a similar color to what you have and, i bleached it and it turned a brassy-yellow-white color. i hated it. i would go to a hairdresser and get it done professionally. but, hey thats just me.
