If I break up with him, will he realize what he had?

My boyfriend and I have had some problems the last few months. I don't think he realizes what he has. He tells me he loves me and wants to be with me but he hardly EVER makes time for me anymore. I'm afraid if I break up with him to get him to realize he had something good it will back fire and he'll end up getting with someone else... What should I do? I love him and I have never trusted a guy like I do with him. He treats me good for the most part and we usually have fun together. I dont want to lose him but I need more from him.

If you break up with him, it shouldn't matter to you whether or not he realizes what he had....it would be too late for that!  If you break up with him and he ends up with someone else, so be it!  That would be a clear indication that he's not the one for you!

You need to decide exactly what it is you want from him that you're not getting and tell him what those things are.  He may or may not be able to meet those needs and then you're going to have to decide whether or not you are going to compromise what you need and won't get from him in order to stay with him.
