  1. It's so annoying that people invent these things that help the environment and then charge an arm and a leg for them!! NO! If you want to make REAL money, you should invent a car that uses really really old dead animals as a lubricant.

  2. I have to tell you that petroleum IS a natural hydrocarbon. But I suppose you mean a renewable hydrocarbon. Like Ethanol or biodiesel. Such cars already exist. The reason they are not more popular is NOT the cost of the cars, which is not more than a regular car. It is that the supply of renewable hydrocarbons is far to small to support changing all the cars in the world over to those fuels yet.

  3. only if my wife loses the weight.

  4. Yeah cause it's hand made

  5. I'd pay anything to help the environment

Edit:  Dang it, hsueh got it.

  6. If I could, yes, I would. The problem is that many Americans can't afford to buy a new car whether it's better for the environment or not. Therefore, only the people who can afford it would be able to. That leaves a lot of cars on the roads that would still be throwing bad stuff into the atmosphere. If you really wanted to do something good, you could build a converter kit that could be installed on any car, at a relatively cheap price.

  7. What Hydrocarbons?

    How well does it run?

How easy is it to service?

    How expensive?

    How much trouble to refuel?

  8. Well, cars are over priced to begin with, and one of the goals of alternative fuel is to be affordable, both in the initial expenditure, and in the long term. And natural hydrocarbons is not all that novel a concept. So, probably not.

  9. First explain to me what un-natural hydrocarbons are?

Gasoline is a "natural" hydrocarbon. So is diesel and ethanol. Why would I pay more for it than any other car? You're basically selling what's already being sold.
