If I buy Cohiba's from a souvenir shop/cigar in Cuba what are the chances they are fake?

If it is from a souvernir shop is legal , if is bought in the street is 99.9% fake

100% AUTHENTIC in all souvenir/cigar shops in Cuba. If any fakes were sold in those shops, there will be serious legal ramifications for the sellers....and they don't want their reputation ruined:

When you buy cigars in Cuba at a legal shop you are given a certificate of authenticity.

You have to buy them in stores, and you have to smoke them over there.  Cohibas are also made in Dominican Republic but the taste is not the same.  You can't introduce Cuban Cohibas into American Territory. If they get you at costums you are going to lose them and even get in trouble.
