If I buy an Xbox 360 Arcade, can I use an external hard drive to save my content from Xbox Live, ect.?

Any help would be appreciated. Can I have the drive be my primary source for saving things, and save all my profile info on it. If so, could someone tell me how. Thanks!

  2. No the only hard drive that will work is the one made specifically for the 360.
