If I buy something with a credit card...?

and then return it, is there any way I can make both transactions (purchase and return) disappear from my bill?

  1. it wont dissapear youll be able to see that it was deducted theyll be a negative next to the deduction

    in the package it came in, and they will bebit your account.

  5. if you're going to return something that you bought with the credit card, the store that you bought it from automatically putst that money back onto your credit card.  

  6. Nope.  It will show up as a debit and a credit.  

  7. No. They remain on your bill for the purpose of (as per the official term) an "Audit Trail". The credit card company has to keep track of all transactions, in and out, of your account, and they are responsible to send you a statement showing all such transactions within a reasonable delay from the statement end date.
