  1. go to a sporting goods store and try a few out just pick them up and figure out if it is good for you then go to amazon or something and buy some that are the right size

  2. Whether one buys used clubs or new, he should at least know what he is buying.. Why buy on line when with a little effort one can contact every decent country club pro shop in the area and see what is available and which would suit one best. Even the driving ranges and stand alone golf shops have trade-ins for sale.

  3. most ppl fall into the standard loft, length and lie. even tho you are taller than me, your arms are prolly also longer so when we address the ball the length comes out to be the same. if u want to make sure, you'll want to get fitted by a competent club fitter, not just some guy at some store. he should be able to explain to you if you're not standard, why they need to be altered. u can also just buy them if u see a great deal u cant pass up and get them fitted later if needed.

  4. Don't worry about the size too much, if your beginning it wouldn't make a big difference. I'm the same height, have normal sized clubs and they work just fine.

  5. try to contact them and ask out
