If I call my voice mail will it use my minutes?

I have T-mobile and I just need to know if it will use up my minutes if i call to check my voice mails

  1. Sadly, yes it will use up your minutes.  I have T-mobile and all of those calls to my voicemail show up on my bill.  What I do is dial #646# to check my available minutes for the month.  If I am getting short on minutes then I call my voicemail from another phone to get my messages.

  3. yes it does however if you phone your cell phone form a landline, let it get to the voice mail then press * it will then ask you for your password  and form there you can check them and it does not use your minutes  

  4. yes calling your voicemail will use your minutes...the reason is the number that is being dialed is 805-637-7243.  its just a standard phone number, even though you have the speed dial to press and hold 1.  i can tell you a trick to get around that...if you have mobile 2 mobile, then dial your own phone number, and it takes you to your voicemail as well.  the trick is, when it rates on your phone bill, it will rate as a m2m call because technically you are dialing a tmobile number...hope this info helped.
